For spectators

In addition to the real men (and women) who will actually participate in the race, we will aim to make to experience as enjoyable as possible for spectators.

As the race it long, it will be quite impossible to actually watch it on-site, and so we want to provide good tools online for tracking the progress.

Some planned things include:

• Finnish national radio channel Ylex will provide some radio coverage during the trip
  
• Frequent updates via SMS from the attendees, in Paska-G:n Sprintti fashion
• Cameraphone photos published as moblog on the site
• Displaying contestants on a Google Map based on SMS position announcements or real time GPS data (depending on sponsorships)
• Possibly also voice reports phoned in from the field and published as podcasts

This all should make the race enjoyable and easy to watch even for couch potatoes.
