Bob: Monkeys go to movies

Tonight we will go to watch a couple movies in the Night Visions film festival with brother Pink Monkey.

Joe will be out meeting our German reinforcements...

Bob: Riding season has started

The riding season has started now in Helsinki region, with temperatures already at +6°C. Bob has his Triumph out, and soon Joe will be able to start his Monkey commute.

Joe: DeathMonkey MC got radio coverage!

Yesterday I visited national radio station YleX, which has the best ratings in Finland in agegroup between 15-27. They were interested to interview us before the trip and do couple of interviews from the road via phone. Additionally they will put a link for this site, when the race is on.

This sounds pretty good. Like someone stated back in the time when tabloids were the main media "All publicity is good publicity".

Joe: Test Drive

Yesterday afternoon was spent test driving MonkeyOne. Participants were Joe, Skoll, Rambo and couple of innocent bypassers. It was interesting to see that couple of grown up men enjoying their moped can gather so much attention from people walking by.

Hell, one of those even made a short interview on us, which we hope to get in e-mail in the near future.

Few notions:

1. Bike is quite small.
2. MonkeyOne has some technical issues. For instance when you put in the first gear you almost end up on your back. This shouldn't be too hard to fix by adjusting the fuel injection.
3. MonkeyOne can go as fast as 60km/h, if you drive downhill.
4. Driving a monkey is really fucking fun!

Here's couple of pictures:

Unfortunaly Jay Surfer was preoccupied and couldn't come along with his video, but there is still possibility to get some low quality film material.
