The rally is now over. Bob and Joe arrived to Gibraltar at noon on July 17th.

Bob: Wine tasting, Monkey style

We arrived yesterday in Bordeaux and decided to stay for a day to sample local wines and oysters.

However, in the morning we found out all wine tours were booked, and so we had to hit the bars and make a tour of our own.

Tomorrow we'll cross the Pyrenees.

It's a great trip you are doing. My longest trip with my (Skygo) monkey was 150km. I was told before that it is nearly impossible to ride such a long distance on a monkey, but obviously it is. I enjoyed it. My monkey had a similar problem as Skoll's: Suddenly it was slower than usuall. The problem was the choke cable. The outer cover was out of it's fixing bore on the lever at the handle bar. This means the choke couldn't be released complety. One hand grip and it went back to top speed. I'm sure the monkey will give you a lot of time to enjoy the landscape while crossing the Pyrenees. Have a lot of fun.
